    Default Width Issues

Hi there. Trying to figure out a few things. I'm actually just using a generic graphic here, but will customize it to look like stacked photos that surround the site main panel (so bear with me on what I'm trying to do).

    So, the site link: http://www.goodlifephoto.com/store/

My stylesheet can be seen here.

The image files are 944 pixels wide - which is why I indicated that in the #mainWrapper but when you look at the site, it's obvious that it the content and sidebars are off the edges.

What am I doing wrong? I've been working on this forever and feel lost.

    Thanks for any advice!!!

They aren't off the edges at all, they just look that way because your background images for both the header and the main content area include a whopping big border that matches the site's background image color and make them look smaller.

maybe i wasn't clear...right now it's plain (i've played with this a million times) - but that "whopping big border" is going to contain edging that looks like stacked photos sorta placed all around, see this. So, I want the borders and main content to be on the inside and not on top of the borders when I do this.

my draft graphic (the store should be on the inside, clean white area)

another site that follows this same premise that i found

The other site has inserted an extra wrapper around the center layout table and attached the image with the sides of the photographs to that new wrapper.

can i get a non-vague answer on how to do that from someone? i went in, found their stylesheet and reviewed it, i made adjustments to mine, but i'm not sure what i'm doing. is there another file i should be looking at and editing?

i know how to make borders down the sides of my site like this.
but it's creating the header and footer to have graphics on them that i get stumped on.
