    Hi Merlin

    Again, your suggestions are quite welcome, but a bit sparse.

    Even if it's in my own YOUR TEMPLATE folder, tpl_login_default.php
    is still going to be called to fill in the middle of the page.

    E.g., I'll still have the stuff above the login form and the stuff below it.

    I'd like to get rid of that stuff.

    Or am I missing something vital here ?

    Unfortunately ... there is an itty bitty bug in v1.3.7 ... but it is fixed for the upcoming v1.3.8 to use the settings:

    Set to 1:
    Customer Shop Status - View Shop and Prices
    Customer must be approved to shop
    0= Not required
    1= Must login to browse
    2= May browse but no prices unless logged in
    3= Showroom Only

    It is recommended that Option 2 be used for the purposes of Spiders if you wish customers to login to see prices.
    Set to 1:
    Customer Approval Status - Authorization Pending
    Customer must be Authorized to shop
    0= Not required
    1= Must be Authorized to Browse
    2= May browse but no prices unless Authorized
    3= Customer May Browse and May see Prices but Must be Authorized to Buy

    It is recommended that Option 2 or 3 be used for the purposes of Spiders
    This will show the Login Page until the customer is logged in ...

    NOTE: no spiders for you ...

    Hi Linda

    Just to be clear:

    Is the bug in 1.3.7 related to $flag_disable_header and $flag_disable_footer ?

    No the bug is related to issues with the Customer Details settings on those two settings not being fully in synch with one another ...

    So some settings work and others do not ...

    NOTE: be sure to test with a clean browser window that would not have a related session to any other browser window so you are not getting conflicting results as many things are tested and stored on first hit to the site ...
