Info on migrating current OS Commerce Module to ZenCart

Does anyone know if there is a tutorial on what the process is on migrating a current OS Commerce Module to use with the ZenCart Override process? I know there is currently a book out there, but looks like it has mixed reviews, as it does not have any info on Template creation. Just wanted to see if I'd be able to use some of the modules offered on OS Commerce on my ZenCart site, as they are currently not available. Thanks

Just about every module for OSC can be made to work with Zen,
non will work out of the box,
some are easy to port most are a PITA

I dont know of any all knowing place to look for the conversions,


the book however is designed for the end user,
not the designer or developer,

Thanks I was afraid of that.... Was hoping there might be tutorial or book (Developer) that would explain how to port over from OSC to ZenCart. So I guess what you're saying is that I'm SOL finding a way to learn how to port these? Thanks for the input though.

I was looking at the Separate Pricing per Person mod (really want to be able to have Separate Inventory/Quantity per customer, but need the main mod first), the EBay Automated Auction Process module and Purchase without account mod. But also wanted to start learning how to work with ZenCart. Thanks for the reply

(don't know about the other mods but I think for PWA it would be wiser to use an existing PWA mod for zen-cart than porting one form osC)
