displaying manufacture logo

i am wanting to display the manufactures logo in the product discription of my products.

i have set up a manufacturer and uploaded there logo but how do i display this??

You'll have to hard code it into the product description text:-

<img src="images/manufacturers/joebloggs.jpg">

so what is the point in uploading a company logo in the first place?

The image is displayed when looking at the Product _info in the manufacturer_info sidebox ...

Linda's right... you can "deploy" the manufacturer info sidebox, and if you do, it will display whenever a product is called up that has a manufacturer associated with it.

In this way, the sidebox only provides an alert when it is necessary to do so. (If a product does not have a manufacturer associated with it, the sidebox remains hidden... Clever, eh?

yeah thats good it shows the logo where i want it thats great, only problem is the images are larger than the box and are messing up my syle, is there a way i can get these images to adjust to fit the side box?? using the gd on the server so i dont have to adjust all the images in photoshop and start again??

I'm going to give this a shot. I am by no means an expert at this, but here it goes.

If I understand correctly from past post, you will have to adjust your image size to a setting that is smaller than the box size. Open the image in your favorite editor and adjust the size, save it, and upload it to your server.

Please feel free to get a second opinion.

yeah thats what i think i going to have to do, another 5 hours waisted then and another 20 hours of teaching staff how to adjust image sizes lol
