nav column left & right

hey there,

i have the following

#navColumnOneWrapper {
margin-left: 1.5em;
margin-right: 1.5em;
text-align:center;
width:200px;
background-color:#000000;
border: 5px solid #000000;
}

everything works except the width:200px;

can anyone please help with this?

Column width normally set via
admin/layout settings/column width - left or
column width - right

thanks i got that.

but for some reason the background colour doesnt fill in the entire set width of the admin setting?

any thoughts?

does the seperation of the navcolumns effect this?

as such?

i ask because changing the widths in the admin section doesnt work

i have reset the stylesheet and now the admin width works but the background colour of the stylesheet does not fill in the entire new width setting.

Any ideas?
