    Default Contact Us Form

    Hi All,

    Ok here is my situation, I am currently maintaining a site for a client by uploading 50-150 items every 2 weeks, As his Inventory is so large. We have 2 Links in his contact us drop down - 1 for sales related and 1 for website related. What I am looking for is a way to include 2 email address's for one link. I would like to have an email sent to him when there is an issue with the website so he knows whats going on fully. Apparently he has received a few emails sent to him pertaining to items that did not have full descriptions, images not showing up, etc.

    What I have now is in the Website Management link is:
    Website Related <myemail at mydomain.com>. How can I add his email addy in there so he can be informed at all times when I receive a site related issue?

    I have tried the following:

    Sales Related <his email at hisdomain.com>, Website Related <myemail at mydomain.com>, <hisemail at hisdomain.com> - This just places a blank space at the end of Website related.

    <myemail at mydomain.com, hisemail at hisdomain.com>
    <myemail at mydomain.com;hisemail at hisdomain.com>

    The above only show the 2 Links without a blank space but when I submit a test email I get this error "Email Error: Could not instantiate mail function."

    Thanks much in advance for any help, it is much appreciated.

    You would setup the Contact Us emails for the drop down as:
    Customer Service <Customer@your_domain.com>, Sales <salesdepart@your_domain.com>, Support <support@your_domain.com>, Abuse <support@your_domain.com>

    Hi Linda,

    Thanks for the reply,

    I do know how to set that all up and thats not what I am looking for.

    Since I maintain this site for one of my clients as far as maintenance, uploading products, editing, removing products, etc. I want an email sent to both myself and my client when someone clicks on say Support and submits a ticket. Right now it only goes to me and sometimes people when sending him an email via the Sales selection they mention to him about items displaying improperly, description is wrong or what have you.

    My client sends me a cd with 50-150 items every 2 weeks(images) and an image file of his price guide with his descriptions and prices and I take the info off of that and add the items.

    But what I am looking for in the Admin/Configuration/Email Options/Set "Contact US" Drop Down List to look like this:

    Support <support@hisemail.com; support@myemail.com>
    Notice there are 2 email addys in the above line. Can this be done and if so how, cause in my oroiginal post I posted 3 different ways I tried and nothing worked.

    My client wants an email FROM every contact way possible. So for every email I get for support/web related he wants to get one too.

    Again Thanks Linda
