The short answer to your question is no, or at least I don't think so.
I wish I could offer more in the way of help, but the truth is I can't.

For google, if I understand it correctly, all your tax rules have to passed to google, when you consider all the local taxes, zone taxes, and tax classes, this is not as simple as it seems, especially if google does not compound taxes, but selects only one tax to charge(I'm really not even sure of this).

As for paypal, there are actually 3 different paypal payment options, so I would guess the possibilities for passing sales tax to paypal would depend on which paypal payment option you are using.

As I said I wish I could offer more help, but I just dont have a strong enough understanding of any of these payment options to even attempt this.

I added ability to enter a zip list.
The only file I modified is \includes\modules\order_total\ot_local_sales_taxes.php
All my changes are noted by //=====
I tested on my site and it worked.
I added some comment in the readme file.

I am new to Zen Cart and am thrilled to find this mod, as it is exactly what I need for Ohio.

I noticed it says it is for use with version 1.3.7; will it be okay to use it with version 1.3.8?

I apologize in advance for such a basic question --

The instructions say to copy all thefiles inside the catalog folder to my cart. Is that via my FTP to the main store folder, or to one of the folders under that like, admin or includes, etc.

I haven't uploaded anything yet, so this answer may be self explanatory once I do..... it says to run the LocalSalesTaxv2.0.sql file....will that appear in the zen cart admin area or where do I run it from?

Yes, the mod is ok for use with version 1.3.8.

As for the upload of the files, if you look in the catalog folder of the download you will see two folders "admin" and "includes" these correspond to the "admin" and "include" folders in main the zen cart folder. Does that make sense?

You should be able to just upload both folders via ftp the mod does not overwrite any of the existing files.

To update the sql in the cart admin go to Tools -> Install SQL Patches
From there you can either upload the sql file or copy and paste the contents of the file.

I just tried to run the sql, and I got this message:

NOTE: Zen Cart database-upgrade scripts should NOT be run from this page.
Please upload the new zc_install folder and run the upgrade from there instead for better reliability.

I'll see if I can find the new zc_install folder.

What exactly does it mean to have debugging active or inactive? Which should I select?

Well, except for the state of Ohio where I am based. I didn't realize how many zip codes overlapped counties.

Is there a module in the works that allows for people to enter the county the item is being shipped to?
