Currency Dropdown - How to Change Order?

Hey everyone,
I'm having some problem setting my default currency to CAD. I can do it in the backend admin, but the initial currency that still appears on my site's dropdown is US. How can I change the order of the currencies so that Canadian Dollars appears as the selected value?

In Admin->Localization->Currencies, which currency is set as default?

In Admin->Configuration->My Store, what setting do you have for "Switch To Default Language Currency"?
If it's "false" then the store default above should automatically be selected when newcomers come to your store.
If it's "true" then it's pulling the default currency from DEFAULT_LANGUAGE_CURRENCY in your english.php language file ... so you might want to change that to CAD instead of USD.

To test any changes, clear your browser cookies and cache and restart your browser ... otherwise any previous language selections will be auto-remembered.
