Shipping price determined later

I need a solution to not charge for shipping. I tried the freeshipper.php but at checkout of course it has the free shipping language and a radio button that has freeshipping language next to it. My goal is to still hit the shipping page incase they need to chage shipping address but would also like to get rid of all the language that excaliams free shipping, and it;s not only on that page, it shows up in threcipts and other stuff. Any help on this would be nice.

your best bet is to clone/edit the store pickup module, easier than playing with the free shipping stuff.

Perhaps I could still use the freeshipper.php and change the language around a little. If I could get this to work, If I could only figure out how to add shipping cost once I determined it. Is it possible to add to the final price in admin before charging them? I knowm that seems a little weird but This store requires that you are a customer already and so the trust factor is already established.

I have products that do not have a weight until the product is finished. I am using Purchase orders as the payment which means I will be sending a bill to them with the total once the product is made, weighed and shipped out. The free shipper does not meet my needs because it brands the purchase as free shipping. I have also tried the virtual product approch but that to brands the free shipping on the check out process and in the bill. Anyone have a way I can either debrand thfree shipping and say something in it's place like Shipping added at time of delivery or something like that. I guess I could chnge the language but first, I am not sure if that will break it or if I will find all the occurance. I would like a solution that just takes the free shipping text and the $0.00 out of there.
