    Default Home Page Blank

I don't seem to have anything on my Home page ..... except for:

"There are no products to list in this category."

I know it must be something simple, just can not find it ..... but then again been at it a long time today.

    http://www.shop.girlsonlyfun.com.au/

    Thanks

    Trevor

Try to add some info to the following file:

    /includes/languages/english/html_includes/[your template]/define_main_page.php

That is the file which controls what is seen on the home page.

I never had a folder [your template] in /includes/languages/english/.

My template is called "girls" e.g. includes/templates/girls

I then set up a girls directory as you said

    /includes/languages/english/html_includes/girls/

I then added the default "define_main_page.php" file

    Is this right?

Because it is still the showing..... or have I done/not done something concerning Override?

Yes, that is correct, you have it in the correct location. Can you post what your "define_main_page.php" file has in it? Let me see that.

Why do you have two different "home pages" running?

    Here is what I mean:

This is the link you posted to look at:
    http://www.shop.girlsonlyfun.com.au/

This is the link your "home" link points to from the cart (when clicking upper left corner to go "home").
    http://www.girlsonlyfun.com.au/shop/

The first link looks like you are trying (or have created) a "sub domain" (which should be typed as follows: http://shop.girlsonlyfun.com.au (no need for "www").

The second link looks like you are just pointing to the directory of the install itself?

This is probably not causing your problem, but should be corrected to use one or the other.

Could you check your settings in the Configuration ... Layout Settings ... for things like:
Main Page - Opens with Category
    0= Top Level Categories
    Or enter the Category ID#
Note: Sub Categories can also be used Example: 3_10
Do you have Products in the Top Level Category? As in categories_id 0

    Using phpMyAdmin ...

Peek in your products_to_categories table ... are any of the categories_id set to 0

Peek in the products table ... are any of the master_categories_id set to 0

    OK ....

    Sub Domain ...

Yes I did set up a sub domain..... and for some reason as soon as I go to admin, or click on any link in the website it goes to the directory (Which is really the same place just a different way to type it).

Not sure why it does this. I could not see where this was in the config file. Any suggestions, like I say it doesn't really matter as it goes to the same place, but would be nice to work out why it does this.

the www. does not seem to make a difference ......

    Front Page ...

Thanks now working, answer "Main Page - Opens with Category
0= Top Level Categories". I knew it was something like this, but must of spend 10 hours clicking, reading and doing everything but setting this to "0" .

Life feels full again .... thanks.
