    Hi, folks,

Just to repeat what 'realforever' said back in 12th April 2007, Zencart + CK-ERP could be the total solution most webshops are looking for. CK-ERP has most back office operations covered, including warehouse, accounting ledger, invoicing, PO, SO, POS, CRM, etc, etc.. The next formal release of CK-ERP will also include injection of Zencart customer and inventory data into CK-ERP's dataset to provide better data integration. A live demo of Zencart 1.3.8a + CK-ERP 0.29.1preview is available at,

    http://ck-erp.org/zencart/admin/login.php

    Best Regards,
    CK

PS - Please do not change the admin setting environment of the live demo, which is set up for the benefit of the entire Zencart community. Unfortunately, the demo environment had been fouled up a number ot times in the past years.

    .

Looks like the ck-erp.or site has been hacked. Anything on the domain gets redirected to a screen saver site. Even the link from Sourceforge goes there.

    Hi, damon,

Thank you for your interest in CK-ERP.

I have just re-visited http://ck-erp.org and the site opens fine. I think what you saw was the advertisment lead-in page when you first visited the site. To skip the ad, click the button labelled "Skip this Advertisement" at the top right hand corner and you would go back to the site.

    Best Regards,
    CK

    Hi, damon,

I must say this is really odd. Perhaps, you could try visiting separately,

    http://ck-erp.org/zencart/ (no advertisement)
    http://ck-erp.org/zencart/admin/login.php (with advertisement)

to see if there is any difference.

    Best Regards,
    CK

MODERATOR NOTE: ... um ... guys ... the ck-erp.org website is not affiliated with Zen Cart. You should be discussing issues related to problems on their website via their forums or by email with their support people.
Hijacking this forum thread about an unrelated topic is not helpful to those actually interested in the topic of this thread.

    Thanks!

Issues related to CK-ERP and Zen Cart can be discussed in the CK-ERP thread here on the forum: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30041

But issues related to whether the ck-erp.org website is working, navigable, hacked, or working in one browser or another should be handled at the ck-erp website, not here.

I was looking around on sourceforge and found this open source erp package called phreebooks. It's based on the administrator interface of Zencart and has a limited Zencart interface module (download orders and upload products). I'm surprised it's never been mentioned here.

I was able to use the interface to download an order. have not attempted to upload an item yet.
The order did download with all the customer detail and item info, but I can't get it to link to the inventory/sku without manualy going into the order and reselecting the items. Have not played with it much yet, so i may be missing somthing.

It's limited to upload/download 1 transaction or item at a time so it may not be for everyone.
It does look promising so I thought I would mention it here.

BTW they have a live demo on their website (phreebooks.com) without the zencart module.

After writing, installing, supporting, and using various accounting systems, I definitely agree that zen cart should be an add-on module to an existing accounting system, for reasons previously mentioned here, and not the other way around.

As for your particular situation, where time is aplenty and money not, you should simply do manual (yes, double) entry until the volume of sales transactions rises to a level where the purchase of an accounting system such as QuickBooks can be justified.

The idea of integration is a sound one. I recommend taking a look at the following and selecting an open source accounting system where zen cart can be added to it as a module:
