I am working too hard. I am making this harder than it is.

Found the problem. Fixed the problem. All is right with the world.

How about posting what you found out? You're not the first person to make the mistake and you won't be the last. Someone else might just be having the same problem.

The problem was all me. I wasn't thinking and I am totally embarrased.

I had been making changes to the files on my local drive and using the Alt-Tab feature to toggle between my HTML editor and my live site. I would do a refresh and not see any changes after I had just made them.

I simply forgot to ftp up my changes.

I had everything right. I had done as instructed. I simply was not uploading the changes.

So people can learn from my mistake...

Step 1 - Make the change on the local machine and save the change.
Step 2 - Upload the changed file via ftp.
Step 3 - Refresh your browser to see the change.

Skipping any 1 of these 3 steps will result in nothing being changed on your site.

I've done that! I've made changes, refreshed the page and wondered why nothing was different... and then realized I hadn't bothered to upload the changes. Talk about getting ahead of yourself!
