Inventory/Datafeed

Do the ZenCart support Inventory/Datafeed or are they going to?. That is when you are setting up a dropship store and have all your suppliers products auto load directly in to your store inventory or you down load your suppliers datafeed sheet and load it your self with out you having to type 1000 of products in to your store inventory by hand.

i think EP is pretty easy and a great way to do it if you are looking at a few hundred dropship products, but if you are doing a few thousand you might want to give inventory source a try.If you want the dropship data feeds automated Inventory Source.com is able to upload the dropship products and images from the suppliers and update the product details for u.

U can use the supplier data feeds and easy populate to manually update the products. However, as the feeds get very large from some of the big suppliers, the uploads seem to take VERY long and sometimes time out. I know you can split the files, etc....but the IS zen cart loading and updates work without needing to upload the files through EP and they update the products right on the database.

i have used that service and you are right it is good for thousands of products however you spend more time correcting incomplete uploads, meaning photos are missing or description the same as the supplier has on there website. For the last 3 months i have been using there service and been complaining about duplicate product uploads and missing images not to mention other factors like wrong categories anyway i just wanted to chime in about their service and it may be easier to use easy pop since that is the is what inventory source bases their uploads off of, as their rep told me.
