Default Can I hide my Zen Cart from the public?

I want to know if I can temporarily hide my Zen Cart from the public while I'm editing my cart. When people visit www.mydomain.com/catalog they will see "sorry, this site is temporarily down for maintenance" or something like that, while I can still view the store front somewhere.

    I'm using v1.3.7. Thanks.

Configuration ... Web Maintenance ... can be a handy little tool ...

Only those IP Addresses that you add can see your site when it is set to Down for Maintenance ...

NOTE: this can interfer with Payment and Shipping gateways depending on how they function ... so if you have weird results when testing, turn off this feature and try again ...

You can place your store in "Down for Maintenance" mode in Admin/Configuration/Website Maintenance. Add your own IP to
Down for Maintenance (exclude this IP-Address) so you can see your
store as you work on it.

Whats the best way to hide all sideboxes when in maintenance mode? I want just the "we are down but I dont want them to be able to see ANY products or reviews or anything.
