Default Getting Zen to work inside the web page

I need to know how much effort it is to have Zen work inside the website page that I specify. Is it a lot of work?

I usually pay someone to do the cart stuff but am trying to learn more of how to do it on my own. I'm a bit weak with coding.

He says it's a lot of work and it will take days. Is that accurate?

If you are referring to a non-cart page i.e. a html page then it is not only hard but almost impossible. Zen Cart is not modular where just the pieces that you want like add to cart & checkout can be used on another page without the remainder of the cart script.

Zen Cart is designed to "be" the website, not to sit inside an existing framework -- esp if your primary business is ecommerce.

Some folks skin it to look like the rest of their site and then operate from a separate folder such as /store/ etc.

You'll find that Zen Cart can be made to look and feel like almost any design you choose.
