Mix and match minimum order

Went at least 10 pages deep, please help!!!!

I have 180 items...
I want to set the minimum order to (6) six...
I want shoppers to be able to pick and choose / mix and match from the 180 items to get to their minimum order of 6.

ie.
item 002 - qty 2
item 034 - qty 3
item 129 - qty 1

Sorry- mix and match for a total is not part of the core code at this time.

You would need to write your own code to manage how many items there are ...

$_SESSION['cart']->count_contents() will tell you the number of items ...

Items being, if you have 3 of Product A and 2 of Product B and 4 of Product C then you have 9 items ...

Hi Designz,
did you manage to get this set-up working?
I've been searching for exactly the same mod but everything seems either based on price, or a minimum number of a single product - as you discovered i guess.
Did you find / get the code for a minimum order based on the total number mixed items?

Nevermind. I created code myself. I've uploaded it to the Zen Cart downloads under Marketing Tools, named Minimum Number of Items. I don't know how long it takes them to review the files before they are available to everyone. Post here if you need them now and they're not available yet. I will email them to you. I have the code running at www.spotowines.com if you want to see it in action.

I've uploaded a new version. I just updated where to find the setting from My Store to Minimum Values (Many thanks to Chinchilla2661). For those that already have it installed, you can use install_config_relocate.sql to move the existing Minimum Number of Items configuration to the Configuration-->Minimum Values section of the Admin Panel WITHOUT any changes to your existing setting.
