Fedex Module - No Rates Returned

I've met the same error message.

It's a fresh installation of v1.3.8 with FedEx module http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=367
(with some changes from http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=82955)

I use phpinfo() to make sure cURL is enabled on my server:

cURL support enabled
cURL Information libcurl/7.18.2 zlib/1.2.3

However, this module returns following debug message

Then I tried to apply a Production Meter Number from FedEx website, but still get similar error.

Do I still miss something?

I am also having issues with FedEx (only issues with Express, Ground works fine). I am getting "no rates returned" with Express. Here is the debug return message:

I also noticed in my admin UI, there are extra spaces for the drop off type and currency code (see attached screenshots). Is this normal and could this be causing my issues?

Any help? Can anyone at least tell me if the extra spaces in the "drop off type" and "currency code" are normal? Thanks...

I figured out the issue. If you have any blank spaces like I did, simply uninstall the module in the UI then reinstall. You should not get any blank space after reinstalling!

ct9a is exactly right! If you are freaking out like I was after upgrading your Zen Cart and your vital FedEx shipping calc. is down...

Install the module as instructed in the download of the Fedex module.

After you do this, you will still have the old values from your previous version of Zen Cart in your Admin>Modules>Shipping>FedEx Ground/Express

To get it working again, REMOVE the two modules and then INSTALL them right after removing them. (Make sure you copy your Account # from the old info)

It got my modules back up and working with no errors so far.

It seems I spoke too soon. I stayed up until 2 am trying to get this module to function correctly. Now it will work sometimes and others I can refresh the page and it will say "No rates returned" It's crazy!

Any ideas?

Alright, as a last resort, I went back and installed the 1.3.6 Fedex Module because it worked in my Zen Cart 1.3.7.1 install for two years straight.

It seems to be working! I cannot get it to say "No Rates Returned" randomly like it was with the latest FedEx Module. If you are having the same problem, try an older FedEx Module.

It worked for me. So far..... ha.
