Column grid problem in firefox

Goodday to all
My very first post after searching an reading for a while now.

I've got a problem with the column grid and firefox.
I use Zen Cart 1.37 use the classic template.
Normally I do all the work in IE6 and the column grid is installed perfectly and works like a charm.

But I've been reading about the problems with other browsers so I installed firefox 2.0.0.3

The grid is set to 3 columns but firefox seems to place 2 on one line and the third on the next line, to start again with 2 and one on the next...

Does somebody know how to solve this issue
