Add Account Creation Field

I would like to add a Field Under Company Name for Tax ID, can anyone help, ive searched but havent found anything

The best method is to take a field that you want to emulate and follow it through the code ...

If you just need data collected for the customer without verification that belongs to the customer table ... follow the field for:
customers_fax

fax can be searched for in the Developer's Tool Kit to show where it is used throughout the Catalog and Admin ...

If you need something that is tested and belongs to the customers table, then use:
customers_telephone

phone can be searched for in the Developer's Tool Kit to show where it is used throughout the Catalog and Admin ...

I found out how to get it on the Accoutn Creation Page, but im having trouble getting it on the Amdin side under Customers

Again follow the same thing ... if you did a search on:
fax

You would see everywhere that the fax is displayed and where the variables and fields are selected or updated ...

You just need to follow the pattern set ...

This is on the assumption that the tax_id belongs to the customers table record ...
