    Default Pricing... 5 for $$, 10 for $$ etc..

Hi! I've been looking around the forum, but having a hard time understanding and finding posts on this! I am setting up ZC for a friend, and she wants to offer greeting card sets...

If you buy 5 cards, the price is $14
    Buy 10, price is $25
    Buy 15, price is $38

Where do I go to do this? The product is set up here: http://thepetridish.ca/index.php?mai...products_id=20

I've been playing around with the products price manager, but I don't really know how to use it! Nothing I am doing makes any changes to the product page. So, how do I do this? Thanks for any help!

You're in the right place (products price manager), but you need to start by clicking EDIT (once you have chosen the product that you wish to administer). The quantity discounts are at the bottom and you have to click the button that says "Add blank discounts".

Then you get rows of input fields and options as to how you'd like your quantity discounts to function.

It's quite straight forward... try it on a test product... see what it does when you view the product ... and tweak it as necessary.

    Try using attributes.
In admin > Catalog > Option Name Manager, make an option called Sets, and mark as radiobutton.
In Option Value Manager, add all the different sets you want to offer (5, 10, 15 etc)
In Attribute Controller, add the sets you want to the product and assign the price for each (with the price prefix blank).
In the product entry/editing page, mark it as $0 and Priced by Attributes.

This is assuming that the cards only come in sets. If they also sell singly, add a 1 in the option values.

    Hi hi hi everybody...

I have a slightly different scenario.
How does it apply to the minimum order quantity? I have a minimum order to meet. My orders goes something like this:-

    Minimum order 36pcs - S$3.88
    Qty 37 to 71pcs - S$3.50
    Qty 72 to 143pcs - S$2.88
    Qty 144-288pcs - S$2.50
    Qty 289-432pcs - S$2.28
    Above 433pcs - S$1.99

I still got to have the buyer key in the order quantity. How do I set the attributes?

Not sure that you need attributes ...

Look at the Products Price Manager and set up the minimum for 36 ...

Then add your Quantity Discounts ...
