Is it possible to have a minimum order.

Im hhavig na wholesale site, and i want a minimum order or the ycant place an order

There is not a built-in function for this.

However, there is a Low Order Fee you can activate in admin > Modules > Order Total which can be used to accomplish the goal.

Set the low order fee to a high enough figure that, if anyone still wants to order, the profit will make it worthwhile.

Post a prominent notice that there is a minimum order of $xxx, and most will get the message.

It may suck but!!!! When you are dealing with a bunch of people that just love doing this on all sites that they go on, or when you get a number that do it on your own site! The amount of money it costs you for an order under $10.00 is not worth the time or effort.

So, thank you for this post! After having a so and so order a $2.00 item I went in and did what you had stated in this post. Let's see the next dummy come in and try to pull the same thing off!

I see Andrew posted his mod just after the original discussion on this thread.

It actually seems to me that a low order fee is more user-friendly, in that it allows someone who really wants just one of something and is willing to pay what it takes to be accommodated. Anyway, it's good to have both options possible.
