    Default E-check clearing

    Hi,

It appears that in the newest version of Zen-Cart when an e-check is cleared in PayPal it is automatically sent to the cart and the product (in our case) becomes available for download.

My question is how can I get the cart to notify the customer the the e-check has cleared and their product is now available to be downloaded?

    Thanks

    Rick

You can alter the processing steps in the admin - and this would be "pending" until cleared - once cleared notification is received by you, you can then change the status to "processing" or?? and edit the corresponding notification mail with your particulars

    The process is not automated.

You'd need to add code into the ipn_update_orders_status_and_history() function in the paypal_functions.php file to send an appropriate email.
