Search box align left for v1.3.7

Hi, I've looked at other posts which say to modify alignment comon/tpl_header.php or sideboxes/tpl_search_header.php, but these files don't seem to have any "align =" statements in v1.3.7??

How can I left-align in v1.3.7?

I'm afriad that you question doesn't really make sense, but in general alignment would be done nowadays via the stylesheet and not HTML align attributes.

I've tried adding "text-align: left" to some css styles such as navColumnOneWrapper, leftBoxContainer, and columnLeft, which appear in the view source code for the page, but it doesn't work.

Can you tell me the relevant css style to change?

Hi again...this should be a simple thing to change but I've tried all sorts of things in CSS and the template files but haven't managed to crack it...
Who can help me with this?
