Um, yeah, so my store was running ok and then all of a sudden it got all crazy on me without doing anything to it and then without me doing anything, it went back to normal. So I thought I fixed the problem, but it is doing it again. I am on 1.3.6 running on a linux server with SiteGround hosting.
You will probably want to look for yourself to see all the errors it is throwing out there, www . mylibros . com. Every page has a different one. Please take a look and let me know what you think could be causing it to freak out without touching anything and then go back to normal without touching anything.
Very difficult to tell without seeing the files on the server. But the site certainly has some big problems. In addition to php errors that appear on some pages, the site isn't even attempting to load a stylesheet and appears to be missing some language files.
I would take a look first at the common/html_header.php in template_default or your template if you have over-ridden it. Is it there? Is it complete?
Have you contacted your host about this? It's not unknown for hosts to accidentally delete files on servers and then try to put them back quietly from their backups. Not saying that's what's happening here, but it does seem odd that the site would just stop working.
I'm particularly keen to see it back as it is one of the sites that I was planning to add to my personal favorites site.
Well, the template is at least working now (I still haven't touched a thing) but it is still throwing some errors at me... I checked with my host and they said it is "beyond our technical scope" and all that BS. However, I plan on upgrading my install to 1.3.7 this evening and I hope that will solve some problems. At the very least, it will replace the files that are involved in these errors and hopefully bring me back online for good. I will update this thread when I have completed the upgrade.
OK, thanks to Linda's wisdom  we are back up and running. Seems the tpl_index_default.php file was not doing well and had some syntax problems. Don't know how it would have been tampered with, but it has been fixed. So now you can place us in your best of the best zencart sites :D. Thanks for the fix, Linda!
We need to chat before you do that upgrade ...
I strongly recommend using an upgrade directory and database to practice and get that template into your own templates and overrides system before you try this for real ... or you will be doomed ...
