Credit / Debit Card Module Help

Hi,

I wish to use the Credit / debit Card module and it works fine with all cards except Maestro cards which some of the UK banks changed from Switch.

I get the error message saying we do not currently accept this card type.

The first 4 didgits are 6759 of these cards, can anyone advise how i add this card to be accepted?

I am using 1.2.4.1 Zen and the standard Credit Card Mod

v1.3.7 added support for the additional card types (switch, solo, maestro) in terms of validating and determining what card type a given number represents.
Only the PayPal Express Checkout module received code to support their use, and that use is not fully developed at the present time. ie: the input fields to collect the required data have not been fully completed.

You might work on a plan to upgrade, and then when completed code is finished for the PayPal module you could adapt the code to the basic Credit Card module.

Hi,

It's highly inadvisable at this time to use automated checking for Switch/Maestro bin codes... many of the algorithms are out of date due to changes by certain card issuers.

You'd be better to use a payment module which allows the user to select their card type rather than determining it programatically.
