mostly grey problems

So I installed the mostly grey template. I love the look. Should work out great.

I'm really lost in general how to edit these templates to begin with, so I'll tackle that in the next few days. I started with adding the boxes on the left and right. Well, none of them are showing up on the right side. I'm not exactly sure if I'm doing something wrong out of the obvious.

Just hoping someone can help me along with this easy one while I work on the other things...

Alright, I already figured out my problem, pretty simple. I was trying to add boxes that would only show up if I already had sales or I already had something in the cart. So I added a somewhat static one and low and behold, it show up!
