Where did this button come from?

I downloaded a template (I think it was a template and not a button set) that contained this style of button way back last year sometime with the intention to make something similar later.

Well, they've grown on me and I'd like to keep using them now that my site is about ready to go up, but I can't find the download again. I'd like to check to make sure that they can be used legally, and give credit if they can.

Does anyone recognize those buttons?

that would be one of my buttons only it's in .gif format an not in it's original .png format:

I doubt you downloaded the template set as it is not available, and the button set would have had to have been downloaded directly from the store site as well. I didn't create the button set, the other web designer did, I did create the store template though.

Hmm. Strange.

Wherever I got the buttons, they were definitely downloaded from this site. I have never gone to any other locations such as template monster or anything for zencart stuff. Possibly someone else used them in a template or something available in the downloads section.

So then, are these buttons OK to use? Or do you, knowing that other designer, feel like h/she would have an issue with them being used?

Well, considering you didn't get them from the site and they are in a different file format .gif vs. .png ownership cannot be proven.

Therefore I would have to say, go for it

They look identical to the "Nifty Zen" template buttons to me...or "Simple Zen"...or real close, but not quite to "Gloss Black".

Since the contributions in the download section are submitted under a GPL license there should be no reason not to use the buttons on your own site.

The button is from Simple Zen. It should all be GPL...
