Option Value Order Help

I am trying to find the best way to order my values. for example Size. I sell clothing and rings do I put everything with a size in this group. Also what is the best way to order sizes

Small
Medium
Large
3 - 6 months
9 - 12 months
4t- 5t

and so on.

Do I have that all in the same group.

Set the Default Sort Order based on how these are grouped ...

Example:
ring sizes would be the 10 to 90 group
clothing would be the 100 to 199 group
etc.

Now you can sort within the groups by setting the defaults in increments of 5 or 10 to allow you to insert more later in the right order ...

Note: the Catalog ... Option Value Sorter can help a lot with this ...

6.5 25
7 30


Leave open 100
XSmall 105
Small 110
Medium 115
Large 120
XLarge 125
XXL 130

0-3 Months 150
3-6 Months 155
6-9 Months 160
9-12 Months 165

2T 200
3T-4T 205
5T 210
5T-6T 215

That is correct ... and when you add the Attributes to the products you can:

1 include a sort order with each

2 hit the Update Sort Order at the top of the Attributes Controller at any time and update them for display purposes ...

I rather like the 2nd one ... then I don't have to think ...
