General query on images & uploading

Hi all,
I'm hoping somebody can save me days of work but I'm not sure if it is possible.
My shop has over 5000 items and all need pictures. My problem is I have been inputting the items when I am in work (I work nights and have lots of time on my hands) but I can't upload pictures from work so I then go home and navigate through the items I have entered into the shop and add the picture I need to it but I'm already tearing my hair out doing this as it is going to take forever. Is there anyway to upload all the pictures from home and then just add them from the server when I am in work?
Another query is when I eventually do have a picture for every item there is then the problem of uploading multiple pictures as I need more than one picture for about 3000 of the items. Does anybody have a link to how to do this quickly as I'm sure it has been asked a million times.

You can just upload all to your server at home. If you have some easy way to remember the name of the pic to attach it to the product in the cart.

If you are adding 5000 products through the admin 1 by 1, you should definitely get the EZ Populate contribution. I have thousands of items, too. I just named the pics the model #, so I could fill in the pictures column real quickly in Excel.

To add more pics to a product, just have the first part of it's name the same, then -1, -2, etc. So item1-1.jpg, item1-2.jpg, etc. It doesn't even haev to be exactly that. I have Item1.jpg, Item1_pic2.jpg, etc.

Once the pics are in the images directory on your server, Zen Cart just magically finds them using it's computer voodoo.
