Search Engine Friendly URL for Ver 1.3.7

Good afternoon:

I have been researching in the forum, FAQ, and playing with the Zen cart for about a month and I have even purchased and read the e-Start Zen Cart book. So far I have not been able to find some of the answers I am looking for.

After a month I guess it is time to stop lurking and start asking some specific questions. Hopefully I have learned enough in the past month that I can at least ask responsible questions. For simplicity sake I will ask each question in its own post.

I am looking for a way to duplicate the style of URL deployed on my current site. http://www.worldglobeu.com This site is built in a proprietary shopping cart provided by my hosting company. There are a lot of reasons why I am wanting to change hosting platforms and quite a few features missing from the provided shopping cart, but the Search Engine Friendly URL is one of the more positive features of the cart. (At least in my opinion.)

In searching through the forum I found a post by Gato that looked like his contribution would produce the type of URL I am looking for. Unfortunately I could not find anything that indicated that his contribution is compatible with version 1.3.7 Zen Cart.

For some reason I was prohibited from posting on that thread so I am asking here if anyone knows if Gato's contribution is compatible with version 1.3.7, or better yet, if the Search Engine Friendly URL functionality is already built into version 1.3.7 and I have just overlooked it somehow.

Hopefully this is the right place to post this type of question, if not I apologize in advance for posting in the wrong place.

I will try to clarify my request in hopes that someone has an answer.

In researching descriptive URLs, I came across a thread in the archives. It is located at http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...escriptive+URL.

Since I cannot add a post to the thread and since I did not find an answer within the thread, I am wondering if anyone can tell me if this contribution will work on the current Zen Cart Ver. 1.3.7 or not?
