Transfering products to a NEW Zen Cart

Hi!

I need to know how I can transfer my existing products on www.katstamps.com/Store TO www.katstamps.com/shop with relative ease.

Does anyone know how I can do that? or what file I need to transfer?

Please help.... I'm new to all this.

If the two carts are the same verison of zen cart then all you need to do is copy the config files, template files, and the image files over to the new store. once you've copied the config files you need to edit the url for the store. That way your new store will acess the old database and walla, everything should pop up.

ok... where do I find the config files? and if I don't want the same template, just the products, can I only copy the config files and the images?

If you need help changing the config files send me an email with the settings, but cut out the username and passwords to the database and I'll change it for you, then you can just copy the changes to the config files.

You will find the config files here:

/includes/configuration.php
/admin/includes/configuration.php

After you make the changes, you should change the name of the admin folder. That way nobody can guess what your admin folder is.
Don't be like me and forget what you named it. haha.

If you're using a different version of zen cart then it gets more complicated, depending on the old version.
