Link Manager not working

When I get to the side panel where the Multiple Categories Link Manager is.. and I click on it , it takes me back to the log in page and ask for log in , Yes I am logged in, so I just click the back button and it take me back the the same page I was working in.. (still logged in) so it is not logging out. just that the Hyperlink is not working

any idea's why.

go to admin -> configuration -> links manager

set Only registered customers may submit a Link to false

I'm guessing you're talking aobut the images.

I use Image Handler2 IH2 and that is one of the options built into this highly recommended add-on.
