Chosen attribute wrongly displayed in Shoping Cart Contents

Hi

I am using attributes in order to present a customer different options of the same product. For example a piece of cloth can be offered in few different colors, but the small picture in the Shoping Cart Contents page is actually a picture of default product. For instance if a t-shirt is presented with a white color as default, but customer choose to buy red one, in the shoping cart, the small picture shows white one, which can be very confusing to the customer.

Is there any solution or work around for this issue?

Not unless you do some heavy customization to address the attribute and figure out that particular attribute image for that particular product ...

The image is from the products table ... you are wanting the image from the products_attributes table based on:
products_id options_id options_values_id attributes_image

This would need to be looked up either per product or totally change the adding to the customers_basket_attributes to store the image as well for later recall in the display ...

NOTE: When I buy a shirt in Sears catalog ... I know the picture is not the color that I am buying ... but I still will buy it as I can read the color name that I picked ...

Are customers really that dimm?
