All Sidebox Content Colors Won't Change

I have read posts for a couple hours now and tried every suggestion (then deleted them when they had no effect) and I can't get all of my side box contents colors to change. The All Products should be black but remains blue. Page 3 & Page 4 continue to default to the original classic template blue color instead of black although the hover color did change as I wanted to purple. Any ideas on what is wrong?

Since I have copied all the classic folder files into new my_custom_template folders, would it be a big mistake to just delete the original classic template folders? I would back-up before I tried it but maybe this would work.

Deleting the /classic/ folders will have no effect on your tempate's display. Anything not found in the active template is taken from /template_default/, not from /classic/. Since you are basing your template on Classic, those files will serve as backups to replace your files if you mess up too badly.

Unfortunately I lost my hover color so underneath:

.sideBoxContent a {
color: #000000;
}

I added:

a:hover, #navsideBoxContentTOC ul li a:hover, #navMain ul li a:hover, #navSupp ul li a:hover, #navCatTabs ul li a:hover {
color: #990099;
}

All is perfect now!
