Hi,
My site (www.razzilyrhino.com) is experiencing a really odd image issue. I've searched these forums; I've googled; I've talked to my web host but none of those provided any answer. So here I am. Hopefully, this question isn't duplicating something already asked, but if it is - please point me to it.
The problem is this: my site works for most users, but a few are reporting that they cannot see any of the images on the site (logo, sidebox header bars, product images, etc). They see only the red 'broken image' cross.
All my images are .jpg, with a quality setting of 80% in Microsoft Photoeditor (that is, 100% is uncompressed, 80% is slightly compressed)
The users are not extremely familiar with computers and aren't always able to give a clear account of the system or browser they're using, but I've established a few things:
- It may not be related to the host, as it has happened on two different hosts that I've been with.
- It happens with both IE and Firefox.
- It doesn't appear to be affected by the permissions on the folders; even with 777 set on all images folders the users can't see the images.
- The .htaccess file in the images folder has a setting of 'Order Deny,Allow' on .jpg, .png and .gif, if that makes any difference.
My ZenCart installation is version 1.3.7. I am not using ImageHandler or any other add-on related to images.
Any advice anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. This problem is very frustrating.
