Downloadable product setup and function help please

Hello Friends & Fellow Zen Carters,

I would like to set up downloadable movie clips. For bandwidth purposes I need to offer 3 viewing sizes. I have the viewing sizes covered. I am also offering Quicktime and WMP formats. I have the formats covered.

I guess what I would like to know is how to limit each customer to only the movie that they have payed for. I guess this would be a common question.
So I'll narrow it down. If a customer has payed for their download and is in the process of downloading and they loose their internet connection, the download stops. They dont get their entire product. What happens now?

In addition I also have this question, Can I set up 15 and or 30 day subscriptions instead of per movie sales?
The subscription would give unlimited download access to all products for the 15 or 30 day period.

Can someone also please tell me how do I make the downloads part work.
I have some test products set up and when I run through checkout it just doesnt seem right. It looks as though a product will be mailed out instead of downloaded.

You set how many times, in how many days, customer can download file/s they have paid for..so if their internet connection fails, further
download attempts are possible...
Downloads are set up via attributes...suggest search zencart forum for adding download attributes.. has been covered numerous times..

ZenCart does not currently offer subscription payments, but there is a one off membership fee module available in downloads section.. see downloads link at top of this page..

Thanks for the speedy reply. I was hoping that it would not come to attributes.
My current store does not contain any products attributes because I just cant seem to figure it out.

I dont know how to set this up and now have some kind of mess related to download attributes. LOL. Whatever!

Is there some simple and non confusing method to this? Just like everything else, A man needs led directly to the answer and then to be told how to use that answer. LOL

Yes, setting up download attributes can be confusing.. this is how I learnt..
Believe me, this is the quickest way.....
Installed a new seperate zencart, in addition to my existing store.
When installing new cart, opted to have sample store products included.
In these sample products, there is download already set up.. so view
HOW it is setup.. apply this to product/s in your existing store...
