MultiSite Module Support Thread

I am having a problem where I cant get the categories to appear in the categories side box. They appear in the upper category menu though, but I dont use this.

What would be preventing the categories from appearing in the categories side box module?

We have been using the MultiSite Module successfully now for over a year and are very happy with it. I have one question though -- is it possible to make a customer ONLY a customer for one site and not the other or are they able to login in at all sites successfully.

Here is our situation:

We have store A and store B. We want customer A to only be able to view products at Store A (storeA.oursite.com). We want customer B to only be able to view and order products at Store B (storeB.oursite.com).

I am running into issues where I would like there to be customer groups (Group A for Store A, Group B for Store B, etc.) where we can control the products they see and can order once they log in.

Any suggestions? Or is it becoming a situation where we now need to move on to separate installs?

I think the easiest/quickest way is to use two separate stores.

By the way, there is some good news.
The multi-site version for Zen Cart 1.5x is almost ready, the only thing left is to update is the manual.
You can find the latest version at Github for now.

I think you can install it without the updated manual if you are familiar with this module. If you find any issues or have things you would like to be added or changed (and if it is of use to the majority of users) please let me now.

yikes, i was going by what Magnus Wester said that they all shared the same files also..

Did you remember to put in the comment tags in the category descriptions?
