MultiSite Module Support Thread

Ran into an unexpected problem. On the multi site, one is for wholesale customers and one is for retail. No matter which site the person uses, if they are wholesale, they will get the wholesale prices. But on the retail site, there is a shipping method for free shipping. Most wholesalers are unaware that there is a retail site but someone figured it out and checked out on the retail and got free shipping with his wholesale prices. I would think that there should be a way to keep that from happening but can't think what. Anyone got any ideas?

The problem is that the multi site mod doesn't know for which site a shopping cart or customer is. So at the moment there is little that can be done, that I know of. May be with some custom coding, but no quick fix I am afraid.

I did, and mad a complete new mod (not to be mentioned here).
For the current mod you could add a site id to the cart and customers tables to make them unique, and alter the queries for the cart, account creation etc.

This may not be desirable but there is code or an option (I've seen it on another thread and used to use it myself) that will empty your shopping cart on logout or login. This would be one way of preventing customers from mixing your sites.

I am trying to multi site add on zencart version 1.55b getting some problems with following files it will disappears side boxes and template wont show the colors.

where bluemash_w is my template name
looks like other files are ok only these above files have issue or may not compatible.
any help will be highly appreciated thanks in advance.
