Custom Product without price

i'm finishing up a greeting cards website and I have to create a product under custom category that only shows samples of custom cards done but without option of price or add to cart, with only option to email me for a price quote.

can that be done?

Try the "Product is Call for Price" setting in admin->catalog->categories

the problem is that on the same category I have item for sale too

A Product marked as Call for Price can be in any Category ... the difference is while you can do anything to the Product that you do to any other Product ... the customer cannot purchase the product ...
