One attribute involking another

I've seen this on other programs, but does Zen support it? I'm trying to have it so when someone selects an attribute for a product that that selected attribute will populate the next attribute. I.e. You select a Logitech mouse, you select two buttons with three button being another option. The two button comes in red and blue and the three button comes in gray and black. So when you select two button, the colors available are only red and blue. If you selected three button the colors available are only gray and black. Can this be done?

Attributes are scheduled for improvement in version 1.4, so hopefully it won't be too much longer...

This is my first contribution. I have done a fair bit of reading on this forum and I really appreciate the time people put in to it. I have also bought the 'e-Start' book by Koon Hoek, which is very useful. So I'm learning lots!

I agree completely that this is a big deal. I sell labels, and customers need to be able to choose the material, then the colour of the label, and then the texture of the label. Different materials have different colours available, and diferrent colours have different textures available. So each attribute choice should then lead to more attributes with choices. Not having that ability severely limits what I can do. I wonder if anyone has developed a work-around for this?

hi ajeh, I just posted a PM to you , I suppose it is the same as what I wanted to have, so I have the half of the answer.

BUT, do you know, how can I find this script from the other java or shtml or etc. softwares, because I don't want to implement these attributes in calculatin process, just I want to put like a user friendly form on one of one of my pages, so he client can faster in a smaller place choose what in the fields exist and complete the form without influence on the price or order results.
what key words do I have to use in search engines to find this scripts .
any help is this are is appreciated.

I have not written anything for this, at this time, but I believe others have ... perhaps one will come along and share what they are doing to manage this ...
