Can I add a flexible Handling charge?

Hi There!

I'm a graphic designer who has hired a php programmer to set up an eCommerce website.

He tells us that using Zen cart, we can only add a FLAT fee to all orders (example: $4 added to all orders). But what we need is a % added to all orders. So huge orders have a bigger handling fee.

Is this possible?

Afraid your programmer is a tad confused ...

As Kim indicated, this is Zen Cart and it is php ... you can have things written anyway your little heart desires and your pocket book can afford ...

Adding shipping based on percentage can be readily done ... just takes coding and time ...

OK.. good news! I will badger my programmer and see if he want to tackle this.

If not, I'll be contacting you again about hiring someone new to do this for us.

Keep in mind ... there are a lot of excellent coders in the world ... but excellent doesn't always mean "knows all" or can "do all" ... sometimes a coder needs a little help or to see how something is done ...
