Confirmation Emails - conditional by category?

Hi,

So far our zen-site is awesome, except our warehouse is asking if we can only send them confirmation emails when a physical item is purchased. You see, we have some free downloads, as well as mp3s at our website, and the kids are goin crazy with the free stuff. Ideally, if we could only send them confirmation emails from certain categories on our site, that would rule.

I've already included a total amount purchased in the subject line of the confirmation emails, so that our warehouse can ignore any purchases of $0. But whenever someone buys an mp3, the warehouse has to go in and figure out if it was a physical purchase, or a virtual purchase.

Thanks, a lot. lmk. It's not a big problem. I'll probably just end up forwarding them actual purchases by hand, but I thought I'd ask.

You could configure an email based on categories or manufactuer etc.

The orders.php class builds the email ...

You just need to build a separate one that excludes the downloads ... easy smeazy eh?

You could also add on to the admin email subject that the order is virual by testing the cart before creating the order to get the setting, then adding the results ...

Just to let you know. I went to your site and tried to watch the Haunted 2004 video. I get "this page cannot be found" error when I click on the link. Nice site.
