    Default Shipping Address Country Empty error

    Hi,

    My Zencart site is live and installed but when I try to make a payment through Paypal express payments, it goes through all of the screens and then just states that I'll have to select another payment method, then a box appears

    I have the lates version of Zencart installed. Can anybody help?

    1. have you installed the latest PayPal patch for v1.3.7?

    2. what address were you expecting it to show you ?

    I will check with my host about the patch

    All I was trying to do was to make payment through paypal express checkout. I got to stage three of the process and confirmed the order but when it returned to my site, I got the message

    It is possible that your server is not getting a proper response from PayPal. It may be prudent to also turn on debug logging as described in this post:

    Then try a transaction again, and post the details collected in the log files.

    Best to do this after the patch is applied.

    I have downloaded the patch. Is it simply a case of copying the files to the respective folders on my server? I want to do it myself as my host wants to charge £25 for installing the patch

    I have ZenCart v. 1.3.7
    Database Patch Level: 1.3.7

    v1.3.7 [2007-06-22 17:54:42] (Fresh Installation)


    I'm also having a lot of problems with PayPal Express, although the PayPal IPN works fine. With PayPal Express, I keep getting the error 'We were not able to process your order. Please try again, select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. (Shipping Address Country Empty)"

    Previous posts in this thread discuss patches but recent posts indicate that this is a PayPal bug (someone had problem with Finland)

    After I installed my ZenCart (on June 22nd) I did add some modes but never had to use a ny patches.

    If you think that my PayPal Express (Shipping Address Country Empty) can be addressed by patches - please direct me to the appriopriate patches and instructions

    If you're using v1.3.7, then you need the latest PayPal patch installed.
    If you're using v1.3.7.1, then the patches are already included (well, as of June 17 anyway).

    So, yes -- install the latest patch if you want to get rid of that country error.
