2 Shipping Methods and a Handling fee on one item

I need to set up two different shipping methods.

I have created the table method for shipping costs based on price.

Now I need a method for local delivery. If it can be delivered by the store rather than UPS the shipping is cheaper and based on the zip code/city.

Finally, I need to add $5 additional shipping to one item based on the fact that its larger and heavier.

Is the $5 regardless of how this is shipped? Or only when shipped one way or another?

Linda, I am checking with the store owner but "assuming" only for UPS delivery, not local delivery since local would be putting it in their van and driving it versus using UPS.

You could test if that item is in the order and if so, add the additional charge ...

This would require some customization to the shipping module for this added charge for just the one item ...

Check and be sure that this is what you need ...

First, have you tried just adding weight to this package to get the extra charge to average around $5.00?

Otherwise you will have to do some code changes to the UPS shipping module to manage this one Product ...
