    application error 1062 Duplicate entry while entering products

    I apologize if this post is not on the correct area of the forum, but i am a neewbie with Zen.

    Anyway, everything has been going smooth with my version of Zen Cart(v1.3.7 [2007-02-20 11:21:11] (Fresh Installation)) Until, we have been getting the below error evevrytime we add a new product. If the "BACK" is hit it takes you to nowhere land and once you land back to the main cat page, you can see that the system made the product with wierd descriptions.

    I have combed the great internet and have not found a solution. So, any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    I entered the items using the admin interface or "Add new Product" page.

    It appears that your products database tables are not in sync. This would be expected if you used 3rd-party tools to manually load the database and somehow the connection disconnected during upload or if the tool was broken when it was configured.
    Or, perhaps you went to certain database tables and did manual data deletion but didn't delete related data when attempting to purge old products.

    Have you done any of these things?
    How many products are in your database?
    What is your site URL ?

    Ahh, i think that i am busted here. I think at one point I did delete an item from the 'products' table, but i am not sure. So, i must have LOL!

    I think that there are close to 90 items.

    I believe I have corrected my DB mess up. I found Dup's in the 'Prod_to_Cat' table and deleted them.

    All seems fine now! It was my mistake and you got my mind cranking by asking your questions from the earlier post.
