Hit Counter

I am after the best place to insert a hit counter (not Zens)
One that gives much more detailed information, I have a code from http://sv1.webvisitor.info/Members/default.aspx

its an invisible one so that helps a bit.

you would put it in the tpl_footer.php
located in the common folder of your template,

if your after more than a hit counter take a look at this

I'd like to use StatCounter, but their installation instructions read, "insert the StatCounter code anywhere between the <body> and </body> tags".

But I don't see body tags in the tpl_footer.php code.

Where should I put it? At the very end?

If possible, get a Google Analytics account, it's simply the best.

Thanks for the tip! I signed up for an account, but I still have the same problem of where to place the code in the tpl_footer.php file since there is no body tag.

I guess I'll just put it at the bottom of the code and see if that works ......
