Need to remove or disable the Product Listing centerbox from homepage

Currently on my HOMEPAGE, for my centerboxes, I have the product categories, Featured Products, and monthly specials.

I need to disable the product categories on the homepage. You can enable/disable the other items from the admin, but it seems the product categories is hardcoded.

Any ideas?

What template are you using?

In a normally functioning Zen Cart, there are switches in admin > Configuration > Layout Settings that allow you to set
Categories - Always Show on Main Page
Main Page - Opens with Category
Categories - Always Open to Show SubCategories

If these are not working, your template may have hardcoded them and bypassed the switches.

gjh42, ah that worked, but when I changed
"Categories - Always Show on Main Page" to 0, it removed everything on the center, (Featured and Specials)

The first category is called 'Products', which you see on the left sidebox, but you also see it on the centerbox. I want to remove that centerpart.
