After Installing template home text has dissapeared?

I have installed a great looking template, which I a modding. However when using this template there is no home page text. The text is in the define pages section but with this template it is just not displaying? If I make a feature product or offer they show.

I bought and installed a template. I am a PhP MySQL developer but want to edit from this template you see. I had to copy files across and run some SQL commands to install.

their templates usually have more issues than they are worth,

and they have NO idea how a ZC template is supposed to be done,

In the screen shot of this template the text is missing. At a guess either some setting is changed when this template is used, or some template files has this taken out?

I have been playing around with Zen for a while now. The template offered a quick solution. I know PhP & MySQL but understanding what changes what in Zen is confusing me. Is there an easy flow chart or diagram explaining how it is all put together?
