    Default Missing footer

    I must be missing something, but I can't get the default footer to appear anywhere in the cart pages. I'm a new Zen user, so that might be to blame, but how do you get a default footer to appear?
    Brand new install, have modified a template for using this, but never (to my knowledge anyway) did anything to affect the footer.

    Any suggestions as to where to look?

    Have you an URL that we can peek at?

    Assuming you are using the templates and overrides for your custom template, does this fix itself if you switch to the Classic Template?

    As is usually the case, as soon as I post I discover the idiotic thing that I did that caused it. Apparently when I was first toying with the templates I uncommented "//$flag_disable_footer = true;<br />".

    Problem solved.

    Sorry to awaken such an old thread but this is exactly what is happening to me I’ve been trying to find out a solution to this problem since yesterday. I tried to put in place what bear commented but I don’t see how this can be applied to my case. The thing is that on the home page the footer has disappeared but not in the rest of the pages. This is what has disappeared in the home page but not in the other pages

    This is my link: http://gnosticeditions.com/gnosis/index.php?main_page

    I really appreciate if you can help me with this.

    Still trying to figure out what happened with the footer in the home page; I also noticed that it's missing in the Main Products category, for the rest of the pages it's fine. Looking at the source pages I can see that this part is missing in the home page and in the books category,
    HTML Code:
    <!--bof-navigation display -->
    <div id="navSuppWrapper">
    <div id="navsuppWrapperLeft" class="back">
        <div id="navsuppWrapperLeftContent">
    and I don't know what file to correct or if it's an admin setting.

    Still puzzled where I messed things up . I really appreciate any input in this.

    If you are using v1.3.9 ... look in the /cache for the debug logs ...

    If you are not using v1.3.9 ... get the Debug Tool in the Free Software Add Ons and see what error logs are created when you get the broken page ...

    Thank you Linda for your reply. I checked the debug logs and the last error was on the 9 Oct with the editor problem that you help me to sort it out in this post:

    http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...839#post941839

    I also put into place the 2nd point from the tutorials: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=82

    But not error is showing in any of the two pages I mentioned before. Can you figure out what might be the problem?

    Switch to the Classic template, does that fix this?

    If so, compare your templates and overrides with the original files ...

    Well, at last!! I managed to solve this problem with your valuable help.

    The problem was a blank line on line 27 in the tpl_modules_product_listing.php file.

    Still wondering how this came about I cannot remember to have ever done anything to that file.

    But, any way in the process I have learnt something. Thank you very much one more time.
