Default Horizontal Swatches VS. Vertical Swatches

I am in the process of adding products to my site which have attributes options that require a swatch for each choice. My swatches for ink color choices are stacked on the page. I would like for them to be side by side as many as possible so that the user doen't have to scroll down to see them. Any suggestions would be great. Also is there a simpler way to handle mass product attributes? I use to use x-cart when working for another company running their website and I could enter many options at one time rather than enter 1 save enter another save......There has got to be a better way with Zen Cart, I do like the copy attribute feature, but many of my products each have unique attributes.

Look at the link below to see what I am refering to with both topics:

    Thanks,
    John

I see on your example that they are side by side, but I can't figure out why mine are stacked vertically. Anyone got a clue?

Thanks for the like on the attributes module I will try it out over the weekend.

I have the same issue. It's set properly in the option name manager, and it is horizontal when viewed in the classic template.

So, something in my template is whacking it out and causing it to line up vertically, instead of horizontally (colors attribute).

I have gone backwards from the location in the attributes php file, and tried to locate the source of the problem, but it didn't work. Something, somewhere is overriding the form layout.

    Anyone have any thoughts?
